Great Beginnings is looking for Lead Teachers to join our child care team.

 

We will have a regular Toddler position available for a recent graduate starting in May.

Two summer (only) school aged positions starting in June will also be available for an individual with at least the Human Growth and Development Course and the Intro to Education Course. 

Our Lead Teachers are responsible for the general supervision and management of a group of children; planning and executing the education program. 

Responsibilities

  • Implement the daily program; using a variety of different teaching techniques through the use of lesson plans
  • Supervise children to ensure safety at all times
  • Complete child portfolios and keep them up to date
  • Maintain a neat and organized classroom
  • Maintain open communication with parents about child progress through the use of a Brightwheel app
