Toddler Aftercare Teacher – Full-Time

Gateway Montessori School is currently seeking a full-timeToddler Aftercare Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. About Us

Founded in 1970, Gateway Montessori is a non-profit, non-denominational school serving approximately 86 children from 3 months to 6 years old. All of our current classrooms are led by AMS Montessori-trained directresses.

Position Overview

We are looking for a warm, attentive, and reliable educator who enjoys working with toddlers in a nurturing, child-centered environment. The Aftercare Teacher will support the developmental needs of toddlers in a calm and engaging atmosphere, providing continuity and care after the regular school day. This position is full time 11-6pm Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

● Prior experience working with toddlers in a Montessori or early childhood setting

● A solid understanding of Montessori philosophy (or willingness to learn—we provide training!)

● Strong communication and organizational skills

● A collaborative and flexible approach to working with a team
