Service Intern
Envisage Wealth is an Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practice with multiple office locations in the State of Ohio assisting clients in meeting their financial goals with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice.
This position provides general administrative support to the Service Team and assists team members in daily tasks relating to service delivery support and projects, and ultimately implementing a cohesive client experience between all office locations. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
Position Information: Paid Internship, In Person
Location: Worthington, Ohio
Working Hours: Requiring 12-15 hours per week when school is in session, 40 hours per week during summer.
Position Responsibilities:
· Prepares materials for client meetings by confirming meetings, prepping meeting planners, completing service checklist, organizing and printing out appropriate reports, and collecting client information.
· Responsible for updating Client Profiles and client information.
· Scans and files daily paperwork as needed in cloud storage, as well as filing within Ameriprise corporate file system. Follows all compliance requirements as set forth by the Broker Dealer and/or Company.
· Provides general administrative support for the Service Department. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
· Answering and routing incoming calls, relaying messages, and assisting clients when needed.
· Scheduling client appointments and arranging conference calls when needed.
· Greeting clients and directing them to the appropriate person or area when needed.
· Assisting with special projects as requested.
· Performs new business and audit tasks as directed.
· Completes and prepares paperwork, which may include preparing forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, and preparing documentation.
· Prepares and sends outgoing mail, including paperwork and other correspondence.
· Ensures paperwork processes successfully, which may include tracking applications and other paperwork and providing follow-up as necessary.
· Displays willingness to learn compliance regulations consistent with regulatory and Broker Dealer requirements as it pertains to financial planning.
· Accepts and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Must be a current student at an accredited college or university.
· Knowledge of contact management systems, internet software, and Microsoft Office products.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
