Founded in 2019, Way to Grow Pediatric Therapy, Inc. is on a non-stop mission to improve the lives of children through highly relational and evidence-based therapeutic services for families in Central Illinois. Serving children ages birth to 18, our current offerings include evaluations and ongoing support for speech and language, physical therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, dyslexia services, audiology + hearing aid services, central auditory processing diagnostics and therapy, integrated neurodevelopmental team assessments, counseling and support + group enrichment offerings in our Peoria Heights-based center. About the Opportunity
We are in search of a passionate and adept Pediatric Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Pediatric Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to become an integral part of our team. Within our vibrant practice, you will assume a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing therapeutic interventions. We value a child-led, play-based approach, and the ideal candidate will bring a nurturing perspective that aligns with our commitment to fostering strong connections with both patients and their families. We are excited to add a new LCSW or LCPC Therapist to our team! We are looking for a social worker based at our Peoria Heights and Knox County location with outreach to Galesburg/Knox County serving children + families both in home, within the community, and in our pediatric therapy + enrichment center.

Holistic Assessments: Conducting thorough evaluations and crafting strengths-based, individualized plans of care that consider the unique needs of each child.
Innovative Therapy Approaches: Implementing a play-based, child-led approach during skilled therapy sessions to foster a nurturing + engaging therapeutic environment.
Data-Driven Progress Tracking: Observing, recording data, and meticulously tracking developmental progress towards set goals for a comprehensive understanding of each child’s journey.
Detailed Documentation: Utilizing affirming language in our electronic medical record system to document reports and visit notes, ensuring a comprehensive record of each child’s therapeutic experience.
Collaborative Teamwork: Linking arms with other members of the team to provide cohesive and collaborative care that addresses the multi-faceted needs of our young clients.
Leadership Opportunities: Taking the lead on projects aligned with your interests and expertise, contributing to the continuous growth and excellence of our therapeutic services.

The Necessities:
Graduate of an accredited program with a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as Social Worker in the state of IL
Credentialed through the Illinois Early Intervention System-- we can help guide you through this process!
Experience in working in a pediatric setting—strong new graduate candidates encouraged to apply!
Foundational knowledge in utilizing a sensory-focused approach
Understanding of developmental milestones + how to best support the developmental trajectory
Eagerness to provide neurodiversity-affirming services
Ability to pass a background check
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Patience and strong attention to detail

Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervision: Our pediatric LCSW will provide one hour per week for 3,000 working hours of required supervision to work towards obtaining your LCSW!

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: Monday-Friday, 16-40 hrs per week
