About Power-Up Pizza

Power-Up Pizza is a 90's arcade sourdough artisan pizza shop & truck serving handcrafted pizzas with bold flavors and a fun, energetic vibe. With a food truck and counter location in Rossville, GA near Chattanooga, we're a growing business built on quality ingredients, standout recipes, and a team that takes pride in what we do. We've earned rave reviews from local food influencers, our business is growing fast, and we're looking for people who want to work hard and play hard with a team that's passionate about pizza, people, and 90s puns.

The Role

We're a small shop, which means you'll do a little bit of everything — making pizzas, running the register, washing dishes, prepping ingredients, serving up fresh-squeezed lemonade, and occasionally working our food truck. You'll learn to make some of the best food around, the kind your friends and family will beg you to tell them about. We'll teach you, and we'll have fun doing it.

But let's be real: this is a job, not a hangout. We need people who show up on time, work hard, stay off their phone, and bring a good attitude every single shift. No excuses, no drama, no calling out because you don't feel like coming in. Our team is tight and we like it that way. If you're the kind of person who pulls your weight and lifts up the people around you, you'll love it here.

Schedule & Hours

Our regular hours are 11 AM to 7 PM, but the job doesn't always fit neatly in that window. Catering events and food truck shifts may require arrival as early as 7 or 8 AM, and some days you'll stay until 9 or 10 PM. Flexibility is a must.

Pay

Starting at $11–$12/hr depending on experience. We believe in rewarding the people who show up consistently, bring a great attitude, and put in the effort to get better every day. If you're reliable and motivated, your pay will reflect that. Pay increases at 30 and 90 days based on performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, accountable, and self-motivated — you don't need to be told twice
  • Positive attitude with zero tolerance for workplace drama or gossip
  • Comfortable working on your feet in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
  • Willing to learn and take pride in doing things the right way
  • Team-first mentality — no task is beneath you
  • Available to work weekends and flexible with scheduling
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Requirements

  • Must be 16 or older with reliable transportation
  • Applicants aged 15 will be considered with excellent references and must live within walking distance
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Valid driver's license preferred (for food truck shifts)
  • Experience is a plus, but not required — if you have a can-do attitude, love learning, and want to work, we'll train you to be a pizza wizard
