Operations & Strategy Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated Operations & Strategy Intern to work directly with the owner of a growing autoparts and recycling business. This is a hands-on role focused on improving real business operations—not a traditional “shadowing” internship.
You will be involved in inventory management, pricing strategy, process optimization, and day-to-day operational decision-making. Every task you work on directly impacts revenue and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Track and organize vehicle inventory from intake to final sale
- Assist in pricing parts based on market demand and scrap value
- Analyze profit per vehicle (parts vs. scrap breakdown)
- Help design and implement operational workflows (SOPs)
- Support front-office functions including invoicing and order tracking
- Improve organization of parts, tools, and storage systems
- Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements
- Assist with data entry and building internal tracking systems
