Operations Specialist

The future of travel isn’t a search engine. It’s a conversation. We’re looking for an Operations Specialist to join a Y Combinator-backed team that built an AI travel agent that tracks flights and hotels, reprices them when costs drop, and automatically secures refunds and credits for users through WhatsApp. No app. No portal. Just a chat with a personal travel guide, flight finder, and hotel deals available 24/7.
This company is building the operating system for the airline industry, partnering with 100+ airlines and the biggest travel platforms on the planet to serve 60+ million passengers a month. They’re 30 people, growing fast, and they’re using AI agents and automation to reshape how an entire industry operates. They hire sharp, curious builders with low egos and high standards.
You’ll own the quality of every customer interaction with the AI agent. Fix what breaks. Turn patterns into process improvements. Lead a global contractor team. Work directly with engineers to make the product smarter. Be the voice of what customers actually want built next. This is problem-solving, people leadership, and product thinking at startup speed.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve issues across the chat and booking flow using SQL and multiple internal knowledge systems
- Identify recurring failure patterns and build the processes that prevent them from happening again
- Manage and coordinate a global team of contractors delivering frontline support
- Partner with engineers to prioritize fixes, ship enhancements, and improve the AI agent’s accuracy and reliability
- Surface customer insights that directly inform what the product team builds next
- Design operational workflows that scale as the user base and product complexity grow
Requirements
- Must work in person in Bellevue, WA
- Familiarity with SQL and AI data analytics
- Experience with CRM platforms (Intercom preferred) is a plus
- Experience managing support teams is a plus
