Environmental Resources Technician (part time)

The Environmental Resources Technician supports the City’s environmental initiatives by assisting with the planning, coordination, and implementation of policies, programs, and projects aligned with City environmental goals and standards. This position supports a wide range of programs, including stormwater and surface water management, water and energy conservation, environmental protection, vegetation management, solid waste and recycling, and other environmental initiatives.

Key responsibilities include supporting implementation of the City’s Environmental Stewardship Plan; conducting field inspections; coordinating and administering programs; managing and analyzing data; engaging and educating the community; and assisting with grant writing and reporting.   The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent the City professionally and positively with residents, businesses, and partner agencies.

This part-time position includes pro-rated vacation, sick and holidays as well as Pera Pension
