Landscape Maintenance Technician

Objective: This position’s objective is to maintain and manicure new and existing landscapes installed by Signature Landscapes, Inc.

Responsibilities: 

1. Remove debris from landscape rock and mulch beds
2. Properly prune trees and shrubs
3. Properly remove dead foliage and flowers from perennials
4. Identify and treat diseased or sickly plants
5. Fertilize trees, shrubs, and perennials
6. Properly use insecticides and herbicides
7. Properly install plant material
8. Install and maintain annual beds and container displays
9. Communicate effectively with the customer
10. Properly record maintenance notes and bill customers
11. Properly train employees under your authority
12. Knowledge of landscape/horticultural/annual design

Wages and Benefits:

1.  Starting wage DOE - $20/hr

      Average 40 hrs/week April through October

Probation period of 30 days- Wage will depend on experience, knowledge, and ability to manage the program.

     2.   Annual salary and benefits are available to employees who return the next year after completing one full season.
