About the Role:

 

The Client Relations Coordinator (Freelance) partners with agencies and brands worldwide to support award entry submissions, advising on optimal mediums and categories to maximize their potential to win a Clio Award. This role reviews creative assets to ensure compliance with Clio policies, manages client communications, and oversees key administrative processes including document preparation, order fulfillment, and record accuracy.

Working cross-functionally with Growth Marketing and program teams, the role contributes to entry research, brainstorming initiatives, and judging session facilitation. This position offers broad exposure to leading global creative work while developing strong operational, technical, and professional communication skills.

This is a full-time freelance role with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Review award submissions (including videos and digital marketing assets from global brands and agencies) to ensure compliance with Clio policy and readiness for judging
  • Respond to entrant questions via our online client support system regarding submissions, mediums, and categories
  • Process complimentary and duplicate trophy orders and support overall client satisfaction
  • Perform administrative tasks including proofreading and consistency checks
  • Fulfill Clio Award Confirmation Letter orders through research and document preparation
  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to conduct entry research across programs
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions with program leads and shared services teams
  • Attend and help facilitate judging sessions across all programs

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in client services, marketing, advertising, media, events, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to review creative materials and administrative documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-starter approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Comfortable speaking in front of small groups and supporting or facilitating meetings and judging sessions
  • Client-focused attitude with a commitment to responsiveness and service excellence
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and comfort learning new systems and technology platforms

Freelance Details:
This role is structured as a full-time freelance engagement (40 hours/week). While benefits are not included during the freelance period, there is a strong opportunity for conversion to a full-time role, at which point employees become eligible for the company’s full benefits package.

Full-Time Benefits (upon conversion):
We offer competitive PTO, paid public holidays, summer Fridays, and a company-wide closure between December 23 and January 2 each year. Company-sponsored health, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401(k) match program, are available. A monthly mobile phone reimbursement plan is also included.

Compensation:
Total compensation range: $55–$62K (annualized). Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and job level.
