Claim Advocate

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Claim Advocate to support claim operations through task management, communication, and organizational support. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in operations, insurance, customer service, or administrative coordination.

You’ll play a key role in keeping claims moving forward by managing tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring everything stays organized and on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, update, and manage daily claim-related tasks
  • Prioritize assignments based on urgency and workflow needs
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, documenting interactions and routing inquiries
  • Follow up with vendors, contractors, and internal team members on outstanding items
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems
  • Communicate task updates, concerns, and escalations clearly
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications:

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills (email, data entry, spreadsheets)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-service mindset with a professional and empathetic approach

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in a call center, customer service, claims, or administrative role
