Secondary Art Teacher

Details of Position

  • Part-time, teach secondary students in various levels and methods of art education
  • Submit unofficial college transcripts, teaching credentials, and reference letters with a completed application; background check will be conducted upon hire

Professional Qualifications 

  • Current state or ACSI teaching license - secondary education 
  • Master’s degree in education preferred (minimum of BA) 
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience preferred 
  • Utilizes current best practices art instruction 
  • Collaborative team player, servant leader 
  • Student-centered (e.g. knowledge and ability to differentiate instruction) 
  • Proficient in education technology (e.g. Google Education, Chromebooks)

We equip graduates to apply Biblical truth as disciples of Christ. Therefore, candidates for employment positions at North Clackamas Christian School will: 

  1. Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal savior. 
  2. Believe the Bible is God’s Word, absolute truth, and standard for faith and daily living. 
  3. Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech and actions toward others.
  4. Regularly attend a Christian church, which has a Statement of Faith in agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith.
  5. Be in agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith and Christian Philosophy of Education.
