Nature Inspired Preschool Teacher

The preschool teacher will help to create a warm, caring, and safe environment to support children and teachers in ways that improve the overall quality of care and education. This teacher will help to work with a team to put the needs of children and families first as well as help to plan nature inspired curriculum and activities. As a member of an educational team, the preschool teacher must be able to communicate with colleagues, listen well, and work effectively with others.

Candidates should:

Have CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain

Be 18 or older with High School Diploma or Equivalent

Have experience working with children ages 6 months-12 years

Have college credits in early childhood education or a combination of hours worked in licensed childcare and experience and knowledge of child development

Have a commitment to professional development

Be flexible and a team player

Be comfortable spending time outdoors in all weather and all seasons

Responsibilities will include:

Caring for and helping to prepare activities for Preschool aged children

Cleaning, disinfecting, organizing, toileting, playing, lifting, hiking, making mud pies, building snow creatures, sledding, singing, and dancing
