Dining Room Manager

The Dining Room Manager for Basin Harbor's fine dining restaurant, Ardelia’s is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations during breakfast and dinner service, ensuring a refined, welcoming, and consistently exceptional guest experience. This role leads and supports the service team while maintaining the highest standards of fine dining hospitality, professionalism, and service execution. The Dining Room Manager works closely with culinary and leadership teams to manage service flow, staffing, guest relations, and operational details. With a strong focus on leadership, attention to detail, and guest satisfaction, the Dining Room Manager ensures Ardelia’s delivers polished, seamless service that reflects the restaurant’s commitment to excellence at every meal period. 

 

The Restaurant Manager must be comfortable selling wine and possess a solid working knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and basic food and wine pairings. This role requires the ability to confidently recommend wines to guests, describe flavor profiles, and guide selections based on guest preferences and budget. The manager should also demonstrate proper wine service standards and support team members in developing wine knowledge and upselling techniques. Experience working with or managing a wine list is preferred, and formal wine education or certifications are considered a plus.
