Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Data Integrity Intern to support the Product Management team by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product data across internal systems and external distribution channels. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data quality that enables effective sales, marketing, and operational decision-making.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Distribution Data Clean-Up

  • Audit product listings across distributor and partner websites to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Update and correct part numbers, product descriptions, and product imagery
  • Identify discrepancies between internal data and external listings and coordinate corrections
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to improve overall data quality across platforms

2. Internal Data Clean-Up & Standardization

  •  Review and maintain internal product data, including:
    •  Part numbers
    •  Product descriptions
    •  Product and operational codes
    •  Product categories
    • Country of Origin (COO) and other key attributes
  • Standardize data formats and naming conventions to improve usability and reporting
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in product data and recommend improvements 

3. Data Quality & Process Improvement

  •  Develop and document best practices for maintaining high-quality product data
  • Support ongoing data governance and data management initiatives
  • Assist in building processes or tools to prevent future data inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements:

  •  Pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems,  Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with large datasets in Excel or similar tools
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and process improvement
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
