Morningside Music Academy is a growing in-home music lessons service dedicated to bringing high-quality, personalized music education directly to students’ homes. We work with students of all ages and skill levels, creating a supportive and inspiring environment where they can build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.
Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate, reliable, and engaging music instructors to join our team in the Beaverton area. This is a great opportunity for musicians, music students, or educators looking for flexible, rewarding work with the ability to build their own teaching schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to students’ homes in the Beaverton area for lessons
- Teach engaging, personalized lessons tailored to each student’s goals and level
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Communicate regularly with students and/or parents regarding progress
- Maintain professionalism and punctuality
- Studio Recitals
Instruments Needed (not limited to):
- Piano
- Voice
- Guitar (acoustic/electric)
- Violin
- Other instruments welcome to apply
Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience preferred (formal or informal)
- Strong musical background (degree in music or current student is a plus)
- Reliable transportation required
- Friendly, patient, and dependable personality
- Ability to work with children, teens, and/or adults
