Position Overview

Are you passionate about food justice, community health, and hands-on service? The Foodbank, Inc. is recruiting AmeriCorps members for the Healthy Harvest Corps Summer – Dayton program. This is a unique opportunity to spend your summer growing fresh produce, supporting food-insecure families, and educating young people about the power of food as medicine — all while earning a stipend and education award.

What You'll Do

• Grow, harvest, and prepare fresh vegetables for children and food-insecure families in the Dayton community
• Educate youth and community members about nutrition and the concept of food as medicine
• Support community agriculture operations, with a significant portion of work taking place outdoors
• Contribute to local food access initiatives and community outreach efforts
