Position Overview:
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person position located near Saint Paul, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive, structured classroom environment that promotes academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct instruction tailored to students’ academic and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Active Minnesota teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $45 to $55 per hour, based on experience
