A new freelance opportunity is available through Uber AI Solutions for a Prompt Generation Specialist. This is an independent contractor (IC) engagement, not a full-time role or employment opportunity. You'll collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to develop high-quality data for training and evaluating large language models (LLMs).

Key tasks

• Workflow innovation: Expand researcher requirements into detailed project workflows to determine the most efficient ways to collect and evaluate data.
• Content creation: Craft original, high-quality, and researched problems that current AI models cannot yet solve, focusing on domains like finance, engineering, physics, and medicine.
• Prompt engineering: Develop precise prompts to elicit high-quality outputs from LLM models.
• Fact-checking: Meticulously verify factual integrity to ensure accuracy and mitigate the risk of misinformation in AI training data.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure maximum data throughput with the highest quality.

What we're looking for

• Educational background: A Master’s degree with deep domain expertise in engineering, physics, chemistry, medicine, marketing, retail, or finance is preferred.
• Writing proficiency: Mastery of grammar and syntax with the ability to produce clear, concise content.
• Technical literacy: A foundational understanding of AI principles, machine learning, and NLP.
• Detail oriented: Precision in language and a commitment to delivering error-free tasks.
• Availability: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Earning potential

• Hourly pay: Competitive rates with an earning potential of up to $55/hr.
• Flexibility: This task is structured for 20-35 hrs/week, allowing you to work on your own terms while maintaining a 70% overlap with US business hours.
