Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Primarily Franklin/Suffolk, VA (with occasional travel to other program sites)
Full or part time position with salary starting at $60,000 yearly for full time.
 

The Children’s Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support children and families in our Head Start/Early
Head Start program. In this role, you will provide therapy services addressing speech, language, fluency, voice, hearing, feeding,
and swallowing disorders, helping children build the communication skills essential for lifelong success.
 

What You’ll Do
* Provide speech-language therapy services to children in our program.
* Work collaboratively with physicians and staff to evaluate clients and recommend appropriate services.
* Ensure all evaluations and therapy sessions are conducted under physician orders and documented appropriately in clientcharts.
* Develop and implement treatment plans that help children develop, restore, or maintain optimal functional performance.
* Complete progress notes, productivity statistics, and required reports in a timely manner.
* Conduct screenings, evaluations, and consultations for children in the program.
* Support our mission by helping children and families overcome communication challenges and thrive.
