Assistant Teacher – 4’s Class (Part‑Time)

Monday-Thursday • 9:00 am-1:00 pm • Start Immediately

The Giving Tree Preschool is hiring a warm, dependable Assistant Teacher to support our 4‑year‑old class.  We are a Christian, half‑day preschool with a play‑based, hands‑on curriculum that nurtures children academically, socially, and spiritually.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher with daily activities and classroom routines
• Engage children in developmentally appropriate play and learning
• Ensure consistent supervision and safety
• Assist with snack, cleanup, and classroom sanitation
• Participate in outdoor play and all scheduled activities
• Attend staff meetings and complete annual training

Qualifications

• Experience with preschool‑age children preferred
• High school diploma required; ECE coursework a plus
• Comfortable assisting with basic caregiving
• Must pass a background check

Pay

Starting at $14.25/hour, based on experience and education
