Restaurant Member (Gather-Cola)

Job Summary
Bessie's Burgers and More offer multiple positions both full time and part-time. We have cashier, line cook, prep cook, customer service lead and fry cook positions open. Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items efficiently and according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Operate POS systems for order processing, payments, and receipts.
  • Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Cashiers Only: Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food prep areas and workstations following food safety guidelines.
  • Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation standards diligently.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced setting.
