Lead Worker Room and Event Set Up (Overnight 9:30pm to 6:00am)

Position Summary
In coordination with the customer, project manager, and site supervisor, oversee room and event set-up and tear down, and custodial tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Provides outstanding customer service by accurately reading and executing work orders for room and event set-ups.

2. In a timely and accurate manner, completes all requested room and event set-ups according to the layouts provided.

3. Solicits input from customer, project manager, and site supervisor prior to the event to ensure all instructions provided in the setup layouts are complete as stated.

4. Sets up and tears down facility equipment (i.e., chairs, tables, staging, risers, trash cans, dance floors, coat racks, table skirting, carpet, etc.) for events.

5. Reports defective equipment, facility damage, areas of the facility requiring cleaning, and incorrect or improper set-ups to the supervisor in a timely manner.

6. Monitors supply usage and immediately communicates shortages.

7. Responsible for properly cleaning and maintaining areas used for events.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.

 

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 Years' experience in a related field required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• Associates in this position will be required to pass a criminal background check and sex offender check successfully.
• Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software and basic typing skills are required.
