Job Title: Pediatric Medical Assistant / Medical Office Assistant
Location: Wayne, MI
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $15–$20 per hour (based on experience)

Fairfield Pediatrics is a physician-owned pediatric clinic providing compassionate, family-centered care to children from birth through adolescence. We are a growing small practice seeking a reliable, organized Medical Assistant who enjoys working with children and thrives in a supportive team environment.
Position Summary
This role includes both clinical and front-office responsibilities and is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a solo pediatric clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Administer vaccines and document in EPIC (training provided)
- Assist during exams and procedures
- Prepare and clean exam rooms; sterilize equipment
- Perform vaccine inventory checks and support VFC compliance (training provided)
- Support front desk duties: check-in/out, phones, scheduling, insurance verification
- Maintain accurate documentation and organized clinical areas
- Communicate calmly and professionally with children and families
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (required)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a solo pediatric practice environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Professional, warm communication style and demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced small practice
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
