Helpdesk Representative - Level 1 & Level 2 Support

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Helpdesk Representative to serve as the critical point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will efficiently resolve Level 1 and Level 2 technical support issues, ensuring our clients' technology systems operate smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt Level 1 and Level 2 technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance tools.
  • Diagnose and accurately resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Assist clients with critical tasks like software installations, updates, and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems (Windows and Mac), email, and standard office applications.
  • Escalate complex issues efficiently by collaborating with the Level 3 support team.
  • Maintain accurate records by thoroughly documenting all support interactions, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in our ticketing system.
  • Offer guidance and training to end-users to enhance their effective technology utilization.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, software applications, and IT best practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Helpdesk Representative or in a similar technical support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business software.
  • Prior experience using remote desktop support tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred (A Plus):

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar).
