Fashion Design Assistant

The Fashion Design/Product Development Assistant - They will assist in various stages of the design process, from conceptualization to Production, & everything in between. 

Job Description

· Work with design and sales on daily basis

· Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and accessories from suppliers and maintaining records of materials.

• Prepping samples (tag, check for accuracy, call out notes) and maintaining sample archives
• Creating swatch cards
• Photographing samples and maintaining records

· Organize and maintain the design studio, including keeping track of samples, materials, and supplies.

· Support the design team in administrative tasks such as organizing schedules, preparing design documents, data entry, and managing design achieves.

· Assist the Sales Team in tasks assigned to them.

work with design and production team members 

Requirements/Qualifications

· Excellent sense of style and color.

· Outstanding time management and organization skills.

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to meet multiple deadlines.

· A passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current and emerging trends, especially in Girls/Junior apparel.

· Enthusiasm for fashion, creativity, and a desire to learn and grown in a fast-paced environment.

· High level of creativity

· Works well in a fast-paced environment and can be a team player
