Position Type: Seasonal (Summer)
Dates: June 10 – August 13 (or August 20)
Salary: $2,000 – $4,000 (based on experience)

About the Role
Do you love cycling? Want to spend the summer sharing your passion with kids while living and working outdoors?
Camp Kingswood, a co-ed overnight camp in Maine, is looking for a dynamic and energetic Mountain Biking Instructor to lead our program and help campers build skills, confidence, and a love for riding.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily mountain biking lessons for campers ages 7–16
- Teach core skills including mounting/dismounting, riding techniques, balance, and jumping
- Coach campers individually and in groups to support growth and skill development
- Maintain bikes and equipment to ensure a safe and well-functioning program
- Help expand and improve the mountain biking course and trails
- Create a fun, engaging, and encouraging learning environment
- Lead by example—bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a love of biking to every session
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with mountain biking, including trail riding and basic jumping skills
- Comfortable teaching or working with children (prior experience preferred)
- Basic bike maintenance/repair knowledge
- Positive, engaging, and energetic personality
- Excitement about being part of a camp community and leading a program
Community Responsibilities
- Serve as a cabin counselor during non-program times
- Support daily camp life including meals, evening programs, and camper routines
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and spirited camp environment
