Job Developer

Duties: The right Job Developer for this position will assist adults with disabilities or other special needs in obtaining community-based employment. Develop job seeking skills, job placement options, and job coaching opportunities.

The Job Developer also provides interventions that assist clients in maintaining employment, such as job/task analyses and skills training. Experience performing evaluations and/or client assessments preferred. Collaboration with OOD/RSC and other referring agencies for services needed.

Qualifications: Associates degree in Rehabilitation or a closely related field is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred with 2-4 years’ experience in Vocational Rehabilitation or a closely related field. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have reliable transportation, the ability to work a varied schedule as needed and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license and follow Agency insurance carrier requirements. Excellent written, oral, electronic, and interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational skills are required. CPR and First Aid training are preferred.
