Operations Specialist

Art Sentry is a 25-year-old technology company whose products are used by many of the finest museums in the U.S.  We’re hiring an Operations Specialist for an in-office role where you’ll be cross-trained across the department’s key responsibilities—from customer helpdesk support and software testing to hardware configuration and shipping/procurement. If you’re technical, organized, and enjoy a role with variety, this is a great opportunity to build real-world skills on a supportive team.

What You’ll Learn

  • How real-world helpdesk support works (triage, troubleshooting, documentation, follow-up)
  • Basics of server hardware configuration, staging, and deployment
  • How software releases are tested and validated before customers receive them
  • Procurement and shipping workflows (accuracy, timing, and quality control)
  • Exposure to networking and Linux concepts (depending on your interests/experience)
  • How technology supports museums and cultural institutions in protecting priceless works
