BUILD Program Coordinator
The BUILD program is a leadership and character-development initiative designed for at-risk middle school boys attending a Title I school. Through mentorship and engaging lessons, the program empowers young men to strengthen their character, build self-esteem and make health choices.
A successful candidate is passionate about youth development, skilled at building trust with young males, and energized about creating an environment where students feel seen, valued, understood and motivated.
Must have a demonstrated ability to develop and lead weekly lesson plans, recruit and equip qualified volunteers, establish constructive relationship with school administration. Graduate or rising Senior in school of education, social work or psychology. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite , Canva, PowerPoint, etc. Possess strong interpersonal skills, work collaboratively with divers groups, self-directed, creative thinker and highly dependable.
