About the Role

Center Street Finance is seeking a part-time Early Stage Collections Specialist—perfect for students looking to build professional experience in finance, business, or customer service. In this role, you’ll support several departments, communicate with customers, and help manage account portfolios in a flexible, supportive environment.

This is not a typical call center. You’ll have the freedom to manage your time, build valuable skills, and work closely with multiple teams across the company.

Responsibilities

Contact customers to discuss past-due payments

Document financial information and collection efforts accurately

Assist customers with next steps and payment options

Provide administrative and customer service support

Work collaboratively with teammates in a fast-paced, friendly environment

Build communication and relationship-building skills

Follow established procedures and complete follow-ups as needed

Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude

Reliable, organized, and able to manage your time

Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone

Interest in finance, business, or customer service (no experience required!)

Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
