We are currently seeking a Bilingual Law Student Intern (3L) to join our team for the Summer/Fall Term. This is a fully in-person position in Morris Plains, ideal for a motivated legal professional seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced immigration practice. 

Key Responsibilities

• Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on immigration case law, statutes, and regulations to support firm litigation and filings.
• Client Onboarding: Assist with the initial intake and onboarding process for new clients.
• Document Preparation: Support the team in putting together legal packets for submission to USCIS and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
• Office Operations: Assist with all office tasks, including managing fingerprints, preparing Representation Letters (RL), and general administrative support.
• Consultation Day: Provide hands-on support during our firm's Consultation Day events.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing a Law degree, entering or completing their third year (3L).
• Language: Fluency in Spanish is required to ensure effective interaction with our client base.
• Presence: Ability to work 100% in-person at our Morris Plains office.
• Availability: Flexibility to work on Saturdays during designated Consultation Day events.
• Skills: Strong legal writing, analytical research, and professional demeanor.

Schedule & Compensation

• Term: Summer/Fall Internship.
• Typical schedule: 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day (Saturday).
• Location: Morris Plains, NJ (Fully In-Person)
• Compensation: $27 per hour
