Assistant Teacher – Gordon
Full-time, Part-year, 40 hours a week – above .75% FTE

Responsibilities: Assisting Head Teacher in writing lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, class observations, meeting with families and setting individual goals for each child.
Qualifications: CDA or degree in Early Childhood preferred or agree to obtain the CDA certification within 18 months. Two (2) years previous paid or volunteer experience with preschool children in a classroom setting. Must pass criminal background checks. First Aide and CPR certifications a plus! If you do not have these certifications, we will help you obtain.

Pay and Benefits: Starting wage is $15.75 - $16.25 an hour depending upon qualifications and education. Generous sick, vacation and holiday pay available... 16 paid Holidays.
