POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our public accounting team. This role involves delivering high-quality tax services while serving as a trusted advisor to clients across various industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Plan and research complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning recommendations
• Perform compilation engagements
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, explain findings, and provide guidance
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and firm policies
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants and review their work
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service
• Assist with special projects and advisory engagements as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active CPA license (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and/or auditing standards
• Experience with accounting and tax software (e.g., CCH, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
