Senior Billing Analyst
What does a successful Senior Billing Analyst do at Fiserv?
Join the dynamic Finance Shared Services billing team and be the heartbeat of our operations. Manage incoming requests ensuring colleagues and clients receive responsive, and diligent support for a variety of revenue-impacting transactions. You will help lead and deliver unparalleled client satisfaction and help monitor, process, implement, and record complex transactions with precision and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
What you will do:
- Prepare analysis and reporting on month-end close processes for invoicing and financial systems processes.
- Engage in quarterly and annual audit reviews.
- Represent in projects for migration, integration, and shared services strategies.
- Conduct recovery of automated billing files, billing accuracy testing, and validation of results.
- Prepare quantitative analysis, synthesize data and sales information, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Identify efficiencies and process improvements for invoicing completeness and accuracy.
What you will need to have:
- 2+ years of professional experience in billing, accounting, business, math, statistics and/or finance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including large data sets, Macros, V Look-up, and Pivot tables
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply contract terms to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
- Experience working with database tools—such as Microsoft Access—to manage, query, and analyze data efficiently.
- Order-to-Cash experience within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Experience performing business analysis tasks related to client databases, billing history, research, and invoice posting.
- Experience in validating billing feeds and trend analysis.
- Experience ensuring accuracy and timeliness in client billing.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
