Responsibilities
- Approach households door-to-door with confidence and professionalism to introduce our candidate and the campaign
- Clearly communicate the benefits and details of our candidate, answering questions with transparency and enthusiasm
- Engage in active canvassing efforts to maximize outreach and support data collection
- Record interactions accurately using provided tools or forms for follow-up or reporting purposes
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and share best practices
- Maintain a positive attitude, representing the campaign professionally at all times
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and persuasive speaking abilities
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
- Experience in canvassing a plus; we will train you to be the best
- Skilled negotiator capable of handling objections tactfully while maintaining a positive relationship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various neighborhood environments
