Los Angeles (Koreatown-based + field work) | 16–24 hours/week | $21hour
SAESHE is a Los Angeles-based public relations and communications agency specializing in public education and multilingual outreach campaigns for government and community clients.
We are seeking a dependable, proactive, and community-oriented team member to support ongoing outreach campaigns and public engagement initiatives. This is a field-based, professional-track role with hands-on experience in public relations, community outreach, and campaign execution.
This role plays a direct part in delivering public-facing programs that serve local communities—team members are expected to take ownership of their responsibilities and represent our work with professionalism and reliability.
This position is ideal for graduate students or recent graduates seeking consistent, longer-term experience. Many team members grow into this role after prior internship experience or remain with the team over extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning and execution of community outreach events and campaigns
- Engage directly with residents and participants at events (multilingual support)
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination
- Track participation metrics, surveys, and campaign data
- Support reporting, research, and campaign coordination tasks
- Assist with basic technical troubleshooting (iPads, forms, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English or Chinese/English (required)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle
- Able to travel throughout Los Angeles County and occasionally Riverside County
- Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional evenings
- Comfortable working independently in field/event environments
- Strong communication, organization, and professionalism
- Prior experience in customer service, outreach, events, or internships preferred
- Degree completed or in progress in Communications, PR, Marketing, Public Policy, or related field
Expectations:
This role requires a high level of reliability. Team members are expected to commit to scheduled event dates in advance, arrive on time, and follow through on assigned responsibilities. Consistency and accountability are essential.
