Education Teacher for grades K-5 program (summer)

6-hour teaching day
Must be a working NYS-certified teacher (public or private) or a recent BA graduate. Work dates: 6/29-7/24 or 7/27-8/21 (4-week sessions) OR 6/29-8/21 (8-week session).

Knowledge and best practices for the current Kindergarten-5th grade Science curriculum as the STEM specialist. The day's activities (teacher's choice) will be taught four times throughout the workday. Must be able to prepare engaging mini-lessons, incorporate technology with the use of laptops, and purchase reimbursable supplies for STEM hands-on projects/ experiments.

Knowledge and best practices for the current Kindergarten-5th grade ELA concepts as the SAL (SS, Arts, Literature) specialist. The day's agenda (teacher's choice) will be taught four times throughout the workday. Must be able to prepare engaging mini-lessons and purchase reimbursable supplies for SAL hands-on projects/activities.

Candidates must be creative, responsible, hardworking, and able to modify curriculum for different abilities.
