Ecommerce Data Coordinator

Position: Ecommerce Data Coordinator
Overview:
Fairfield Chair is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Ecommerce Data Coordinator to manage and maintain product data across our growing portfolio of ecommerce and retail partner accounts. This role is responsible for ensuring product listings are accurate, current, and optimized across multiple online platforms while also supporting sales reporting, dealer programs, and catalog distribution initiatives.
The ideal candidate is analytical, process-driven, and comfortable working with large product catalogs, structured Excel tools, and sales data. This position plays a key role in supporting ecommerce growth, pricing accuracy, dealer communications, and internal reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Operations & Product Data Management
- Use pre-built Excel files with established formulas to add new SKUs and refresh existing product data from a centralized master data source.
- Maintain and manage product listings across a dozen or more ecommerce accounts and online retail platforms.
- Coordinate product launches, price changes, promotional updates, and discontinued product maintenance across all assigned accounts.
- Independently manage the Big Box online account, including item setup, pricing updates, category mapping, product attributes, and content compliance requirements.
- Monitor ecommerce accounts for listing errors, suppressed products, missing content, image issues, or data inconsistencies and take corrective action.
- Ensure all ecommerce product information aligns with current pricing, inventory availability, and company standards.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations teams to maintain accurate and timely product information.
- Support continuous improvement of ecommerce data workflows and reporting accuracy.
Sales Reporting & Data Analysis
- Run SQL-based sales reports for managers and internal departments.
- Update weekly sales reports by importing and organizing new sales data by division.
- Maintain and update “To the Trade” reports with new orders and account activity as requested.
- Analyze customer sales activity and generate reports to support dealer qualification programs and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure sales data accuracy and timely distribution of reporting materials.
Dealer & Marketing Program Support
Hanging Swatch Update Program
- Generate customer sales reports and identify dealers who qualify for Hanging Swatch Updates.
- Prepare and send qualified customer lists to the Sales Aids Department for mailing fulfillment.
Program Swatch Update Program
- Generate customer sales data to identify qualified dealers for Program Swatch Updates.
- Create and distribute mailing lists to the Sales Aids Department.
Sales Representative Distribution
- Coordinate with Marketing and Sales teams to confirm sourcebook and lookbook allocation quantities for sales representatives.
- Generate representative mailing lists and coordinate shipment of catalogs to the fulfillment company in Hickory.
Dealer Distribution
- Generate dealer qualification reports based on customer sales activity.
- Prepare mailing lists and coordinate sourcebook and lookbook shipments to the fulfillment company in Hickory.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, structured data files, filtering, lookups, and multi-sheet workflows.
- Experience managing product listings on ecommerce marketplaces or retail platforms.
- Big Box online account management experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with SQL reports or sales reporting tools preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with large SKU catalogs and product databases.
- Ability to follow established processes while effectively managing multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Furniture or home furnishings industry experience is a plus but not required.
Physical demands and abilities:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Able to lift 25 pounds, occasionally
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects
