Restorative Therapies is a medical technology company focused on advanced Functional Electrical Stimulation systems for neurorehabilitation in both clinic and home settings. Our work supports individuals living with paralysis or weakness due to neurological injury or conditions. 

 

About the Role 

Restorative Therapies is looking for a creative, motivated Marketing Intern who is interested in the medical device industry and wants hands-on experience supporting marketing for a mission-driven healthcare technology company. 

 

This role is a strong fit for a student who enjoys social media, multimedia content creation, writing, and storytelling. The Marketing Intern will help support digital campaigns, social media content, video and photo projects, written materials, and brand communications that connect with clinicians, patients, caregivers, and industry partners. 

 

We are looking for someone who can write clearly, think creatively, take feedback well, and help turn ideas into content that feels professional, accurate, and engaging. 

 

Responsibilities 

The Marketing Intern may assist with: 

 

Drafting and scheduling social media content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. 

Creating or supporting short-form video, reels, graphics, captions, and multimedia content. 

Helping organize, edit, and repurpose photo and video assets. 

Writing copy for social posts, email campaigns, flyers, blogs, landing pages, and internal marketing materials. 

Supporting campaign calendars, content planning, and marketing asset organization. 

Researching social media trends, healthcare marketing trends, competitor activity, and content opportunities. 

Helping maintain a consistent brand voice across digital and printed materials. 

Reviewing marketing content for grammar, clarity, tone, and audience fit. 

Supporting event marketing, product education campaigns, and customer-facing communications. 

Collaborating with members of the marketing, sales, clinical, and leadership teams as needed. 

 

Qualifications 

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field. 

Must be at least a rising junior. 

Strong interest in the medical device industry, healthcare marketing, rehabilitation technology, or patient-centered communications. 

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 

Experience or strong interest in social media content creation and digital storytelling. 

Experience creating multimedia content such as short videos, graphics, photos, reels, or presentations. 

Familiarity with tools such as AI platforms (Chat GPT & Claude), Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, or other similar platforms is a plus. 

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects. 

Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with feedback. 

Willingness to learn about medical device marketing, healthcare audiences, and compliant communication practices.
