Part-Time IT Assistant
AIS Computers offers professional IT computer consulting, repair, and design services serving Palm Beach County since 1994. In 2018 we expanded into 3D printing, laser engraving, and creative services under the AIS Designs name. We’re a small, growing team looking for a versatile, hard-working professional to join us. We are seeking a tech-savvy, adaptable Part-Time Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. This role blends IT support, office administration, customer service, marketing, and hands-on production work. On-the-job training is provided in software troubleshooting, hardware repair, and operating 3D printers/laser engravers. Great opportunity to learn, grow, and potentially move into full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-level IT support: troubleshoot hardware/software issues, log and follow up on support tickets, install/configure software, set up/upgrade workstations and peripherals (scanners, printers, etc.), monitor systems/patches/antivirus, and support mobile devices and user onboarding (Office 365, Active Directory).
- Handle communications and client service: answer phones/emails/mail, check in clients and hardware.
- Support office operations: maintain CRM and customer data, create MailChimp email campaigns, manage project tasks, conduct research, handle supply orders, and keep the office clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies.

- Assist with production: run and maintain 3D printers and laser engravers.
- Contribute to special projects including graphic design, website maintenance, digitizing records, or other needs as they arise.
- Manage digital presence: update social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.), assist with Etsy and eBay shops, and help develop marketing materials (ensuring proper licensing for trademarks/copyrights).
Preferred Skills
- IT troubleshooting, basic networking, and computer/hardware knowledge
- QuickBooks Online
- Experience with Affinity Photo/Designer, Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing, or CAD
- Familiarity with social media algorithms/analytics, digital marketing tools
