Event Media Intern
Job Description
Iyka Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a creative, reliable, and AI-savvy intern to support event photography, videography, and digital storytelling for upcoming leadership, business, and institutional events.
This role is ideal for a student who enjoys capturing meaningful moments, turning events into powerful content, and helping build a professional brand through photos, videos, short clips, and visual storytelling.
The intern will support upcoming events, including a May 30 leadership/book/framework event in Naperville, the IPHEC procurement conference, and future Iyka/Varna-CQ™ initiatives.
Varna-CQ™ is a human alignment and leadership framework developed to help individuals and organizations better understand role fit, decision-making, leadership alignment, and the human layer behind AI-era transformation.
What You Will Work On
- Capture high-quality event photos and short-form video content
- Record speaker segments, audience moments, networking, and behind-the-scenes content
- Create short video clips for LinkedIn, YouTube, website, and email campaigns
- Organize and label event media files for future use
- Help identify the strongest moments, quotes, visuals, and stories from each event
- Support basic video editing, captions, reels, highlight clips, and promotional assets
- Work with AI tools to speed up editing, transcription, captions, and content repurposing
- Help create a content library that can support future events, speaking engagements, and business development
Skills We Are Looking For
- Photography and/or videography experience
- Good eye for composition, lighting, sound, and storytelling
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, Descript, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools
- Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, video editing AI tools, transcription tools, or content repurposing tools
- Ability to work professionally at live events
- Strong attention to detail and ownership
- Ability to turn raw footage into usable content assets
- Reliable communication and follow-through
Nice to Have
- Experience covering professional events
- Experience creating LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, or podcast-style clips
- Interest in leadership, entrepreneurship, AI, workforce development, or human potential
- Knowledge of audio setup, microphones, lighting, or livestream support
