Elizabeth Lamont is a curated home furnishings and interior design studio rooted in timeless design, craftsmanship, and thoughtful living. Our retail store is an extension of our design philosophy—layered, inviting, and highly considered.

We are seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our Pacific Palisades store. This individual will bring both operational rigor and a refined aesthetic sensibility, ensuring the space runs seamlessly while delivering an elevated and personal client experience.

The Role

The Store Associate is responsible for the presentation of the store, sales, merchandising, and client engagement. This role works closely with our interior design team, supporting both in-store clients and design-driven projects.

This is an in person position for someone who thrives in a beautifully detailed environment and understands the nuances of luxury retail.

Responsibilities

Store 

• Drive sales and maintain accountability 
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Bring Shopify data to decisioning on what to order for promos/holidays/events
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock flow with strong attention to detail
  • Including dropships, taking products offline, online, etc.
  • Organization of products in menu bar
  • Organize online products for promos and marketing purposes, provide direction (making collections to marketing for promos of products/product lines.)
• Host store events with guests, gifts, signage, etc each month.

Client Experience

• Cultivate a warm, elevated, and personalized shopping experience
• Build lasting relationships with clients 
• Support interior design inquiries and collaborate with the design team on client needs

Merchandising & Presentation

• Maintain a visually compelling and cohesive store environment
• Execute product placement and seasonal updates in alignment with brand standards
• Uphold the overall aesthetic and integrity of the space

Systems & Technology

• Oversee point-of-sale and inventory systems, including Shopify.
• Monitor reporting and use insights to inform decisions

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience
• Background in luxury home furnishings or furniture strongly preferred
• Strong leadership presence with a hands-on approach
• A refined eye for design and understanding of interiors
• Experience with Shopify or similar platforms is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused

Requirements

• Must be on-site in Pacific Palisades, five days per week
• Availability to work weekends & events 
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, design-driven retail environment
