Summer 2026 Student Ambassador
About the Role
The Student Ambassador Program is looking for student content creators who are ready to use their social media platform to amplify human rights in the United States and abroad. As a KHRC Student Ambassador, you'll create original content on your social media platform that brings human rights issues to life for your audience, all while being supported by the KHRC Communications team.
This program is open to all different types of content creators, from lifestyle influencers to social media activists—amplifying human rights can happen across a variety of audiences. Whether you're just starting to build your following as a micro-influencer or already have an engaged community of millions, this program is designed for students who believe content can be a powerful form of advocacy, change minds on the issues that matter most, and who want to be part of a movement bigger than any one platform.
The program is fully remote and flexible, from July 6, 2026 to August 17, 2026. Over 6 weeks, you'll produce three short-form videos (approximately 60 seconds) for your Instagram and/or Tiktok account on some of the most pressing human rights issues, from immigration detention and voting rights to climate justice, environmental defenders, and the criminal justice system. With the collaboration of the KHRC Communications Team, videos are produced on a two-week cycle with scripts due every other Friday. The videos will typically be floating head-style, though creative formats are welcome, and will be cross-posted on the @kennedyhrc Instagram and/or Tiktok.
