Sales Development Representative — Commercial Security & Low-Voltage Systems
Lifotek Systems is hiring a Sales Development Representative. This is a real entry point into commercial sales, with structured training, hands-on mentorship, and a clear path to a closer role within 18 to 24 months. We are not looking for someone with experience. We are looking for someone who wants to learn this industry and grow with the company long term.
What you'll learn
You'll be trained from day one. That includes:
- Direct mentorship from our Senior Sales Representative on outreach, qualifying leads, and handling objections
- Weekly 1:1s with the General Manager focused on your development
- Hands-on industry education: site visits, vendor meetings, trade shows, and shadowing real client meetings
- Cross-training in estimating and system design, not just sales
- A structured 60 to 90 day ramp before you take on independent work
What you'll do
- Reach out to potential clients across DFW by phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce Lifotek
- Build relationships with companies so they think of us when they need our services
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for our senior rep
- Keep the CRM clean and pipeline reports current
- Attend industry events and shadow client meetings as part of your training
- Over time, run your own outreach to smaller prospects
Growth path
Within 18 to 24 months, the right person grows into a full Sales Representative role with their own pipeline and closer-level commission. That growth is earned, but the path is real and committed to.
What we're looking for
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can write a clean, error-free email and hold a phone conversation with a senior business contact
- Curiosity about how things work. You want to understand the technology, not just read a script
- Coachable. You take feedback and apply it
- Organized and self-directed
- Comfortable with regular outbound communication
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred (not required)
- Bachelor's degree (any major) or close to completing one
- Any sales, customer service, or business-related experience (part-time, internship, on-campus org leadership all count)
- Exposure to construction, technology, AV, IT, or security industries
- Familiarity with CRM tools

Lifotek Systems is a commercial low-voltage and security integrator based in Plano, TX, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. We design, install, and service structured cabling, IP video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and AV integration for commercial clients. Backed by an international parent company with deep engineering capability, we are building our DFW operation.
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission. Full package details discussed during interview.
