US Analyst – Financial Institutions Group

 

Summary

The US Analyst program offers an opportunity for recent college graduates interested in finance and investment banking to actively participate in this fast-paced and challenging industry. We provide our US Analysts with the tools necessary for professional growth and career advancement. The US Analyst position will be available for a maximum of 2 years. The goal of the US Analyst program is to develop the ideal candidate into a full-time position at the end of the two years.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide origination/client coverage support to Senior Banker
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all Know Your Customer, internal monitoring requirements, portfolio reviews, etc.
  • Prepare briefing memos for client visits and for internal presentations/committees
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Crédit Agricole Group's product offering and network as well as an understanding of how the Bank's products and network apply to clients and prospects
  • Work with Senior Banker to map client internal organization, identify key decision makers and foster multi-product/cross-border relationships between the Client and CA-CIB
  • Prepare pitch books for client and internal presentations
  • Monitor revenue budgets for each FIG US Bank client and support Senior Banker in managing revenue budgets in cooperation with the different business lines in GMS, ITB, SFI and DOD
  • Manage credit requests and legal documentation approval process for new transactions and new counterparts
  • Liaise with Legal and Credit Coordinator as well as product groups and international counterparts to facilitate approval of credit and documentation
  • Analyze risk/return metrics on all stand-alone transactions and client relationships
  • Cultivate and upgrade prospect list for future client development

 

Management and Reporting

Position reports to Senior Banker, FIG US Banks

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • BA/BS degree
  • Some accounting/finance/economics coursework

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a banking environment
  • Familiarity with banking and capital markets

Registration:

  • Approved Person Registration

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong computer skills including use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Developed oral and written presentation skills
  • Basic grasp of risk/return analysis concepts and tools
  • Financial modeling

 

Pay: $100,000
