Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized Entry-Level Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction project management within the low-voltage and communications industry. The Entry-Level Project Manager will assist with the coordination, documentation, scheduling, and execution of projects while learning all aspects of project management from experienced leaders.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with daily project operations
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Help manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documents
- Coordinate with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting notes/action items
- Monitor job costs, purchase orders, and billing support documentation
- Maintain organized digital project files and records
- Support material procurement and delivery coordination
- Communicate project updates internally and externally
- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items and deadlines
- Learn company systems, processes, and project workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
- Construction or project coordination internship experience is a plus
