Position Type: Internship / Strategic Partnership / Revenue-Share Opportunity
Location: Remote / Flexible
Time Commitment: Part-time, flexible schedule

About More than Moore’s Precision Medicine Solutions

More than Moore’s Precision Medicine Solutions is a nonprofit precision medicine research, consulting, and patient advocacy organization founded by Nicholas Young, PhD (https://morethanmoores.com/leadership). MtM helps patients, employers, and commercial partners better understand and implement precision medicine approaches, with a focus on oncology navigation, molecular testing, clinical trial navigation, and advanced precision health strategies.

MtM is an early-stage organization with the scientific, clinical, legal, tax, contracting, and operational infrastructure already in place. The company has a growing client base and is now seeking strategic business and marketing support to expand its reach and revenue across three core business lines:

  1. Oncology navigation services for individual patients and families
  2. Oncology risk mitigation and navigation services for self-funded employers
  3. Advanced molecular testing and precision health programs

Position Overview

MtM is seeking an entrepreneurial, motivated, and strategic graduate student or recent graduate with an MBA, marketing, business development, healthcare administration, or related background to help grow the organization. This role is ideal for someone interested in healthcare innovation, precision medicine, oncology, startups, nonprofit business models, consulting, employer health benefits, and strategic growth.

The founder will lead the scientific, clinical, and precision medicine strategy. The Marketing & Strategic Business Development Director will help build the commercial, marketing, partnership, and growth strategy needed to expand MtM’s impact.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for MtM’s three primary service lines
  • Help define target customer segments, including patients, employers, benefits consultants, healthcare organizations, and commercial partners
  • Create outreach strategies for self-funded employers, HR leaders, benefit brokers, and patient advocacy networks
  • Support website, social media, email, and digital marketing content development
  • Assist with business development strategy, lead generation, and client outreach
  • Help refine pricing models, service packages, and customer-facing materials
  • Conduct market research on oncology navigation, precision health, employer healthcare cost mitigation, and molecular testing services
  • Support development of pitch decks, one-page summaries, proposals, and partnership materials
  • Help identify strategic partnerships with employers, clinics, advocacy groups, testing companies, and healthcare organizations
  • Work directly with the founder to shape long-term growth strategy

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is:

  • A current MBA, marketing, healthcare administration, business, public health, or related graduate student, or a recent graduate
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
  • Interested in healthcare, oncology, precision medicine, patient advocacy, or employer healthcare benefits
  • Strong in marketing strategy, business development, communication, and project ownership
  • Able to work independently and help build systems from the ground up
  • Comfortable with outreach, networking, and developing professional relationships
  • Interested in a potential long-term partnership as the organization grows

Healthcare or life sciences experience is helpful but not required. A willingness to learn the precision medicine and oncology navigation space is more important.

Compensation / Partnership Structure

This is not currently a traditional salaried position. MtM is an early-stage organization with approximately $50,000 in annual revenue and significant growth potential. The role may be structured as an internship, independent contractor relationship, commission-based opportunity, revenue-share arrangement, or longer-term strategic partnership depending on the candidate’s experience, goals, and contribution.

A written agreement will be developed for any revenue-sharing, commission, contractor, or partnership structure. The goal is to create a mutually beneficial opportunity where the candidate can help grow the business and share in the value created.

Why This Opportunity Is Unique

This is an opportunity to work directly with the founder of a precision medicine organization at an early growth stage. The scientific and clinical foundation is already established, and the company is now ready to expand its marketing, business development, employer partnerships, and patient-facing growth strategy.

The right candidate will gain hands-on experience building a healthcare business with real-world exposure to precision oncology, patient navigation, molecular testing, employer healthcare cost strategy, startup growth, nonprofit operations, and strategic consulting.

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit a resume and a brief statement describing their interest in healthcare innovation, marketing, business development, startups, or precision medicine. Applicants are encouraged to include any relevant experience with marketing strategy, business development, healthcare, consulting, entrepreneurship, or employer benefits.
