Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education and valid Michigan teacher certification as approved

by MDE; OR Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state-approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.

Criminal history background check

Preferred: 

Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.

DI or DX endorsement.

Salary/Benefits:

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule.  Starting range: $51,814-$75,437.00

Paid time off includes ten (10) sick leave days, three (3) personal days, and two (2) professional improvement days.
