Assistant Property Manager
Job description
Assistant Property Manager / Maintenance Coordinator IPM Worldwide Properties — Brickell, Miami, FL Full-Time | Entry to Early Career
About Us
IPM Worldwide Properties is a boutique luxury real estate brokerage and property management firm based in the heart of Brickell, Miami. We manage and lease high-end residential properties for an international clientele across some of Miami's most prestigious addresses. We're small by design — which means every person on the team has real weight and real influence.
The Role
We're not filling a seat. We're looking for a long-term partner — someone entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and sharp enough to look at how we do something and say "I think there's a better way." We want someone we can invest in, develop, and grow alongside as the firm scales.
You'll work directly with the managing partner across property management, leasing, and brokerage operations. No two days look the same. You'll be trusted with real responsibilities early, and we'll back you with mentorship, resources, and a path to your Florida real estate license — fully supported and paid for by the firm.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the firm's first point of contact for realtors requesting showings — you own that relationship from the first call
- Conduct property showings for prospective tenants and buyers
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs end-to-end: intake, vendor management, scheduling, follow-up, and invoice review
- Participate in security deposit dispute processes — learning documentation, Florida statutes, and how to build a defensible position
- Support sales transactions on an as-needed basis alongside the managing broker
- Assist the broker with ad hoc tasks across operations, marketing, and client services
- Look at existing processes with fresh eyes and bring ideas — we genuinely want your input
What We're Looking For
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you think like an owner, not an employee
- Fast. You process quickly, prioritize well, and don't need to be told twice
- Sharp instincts — you notice when something's off and you speak up
- Polished, professional communicator — you're representing a luxury brand on every call and showing
- Highly organized and reliable under pressure
- Tech-comfortable — no hand-holding on software, email, or cloud tools
- Bilingual English/Spanish a nice plus but not necessary, there are tools to overcome that
- Bachelor's degree in progress or recently completed (any field considered)
- Miami-based, full-time on-site in Brickell
- No real estate license required — if that is a direction you want to explore down the road, we'll support it
Why IPM
- Direct mentorship from an experienced managing partner and broker in Miami luxury real estate
- Exposure to the full spectrum of real estate — property management, leasing, sales, and brokerage operations
- We want your ideas. If you see a smarter way to do something, say so.
- Clear growth path — whether that's deeper into operations or toward a Florida real estate license, we'll invest in the direction that fits you
- Long-term path, not a stepping stone — we're building something and want you in it
- Small team, Brickell address, international clientele
